Giving Back

Our employees don't just work to serve the communities of Cambridge, North Dumfries and the County of Brant - many of us live here too. A charitable and giving spirit is alive and growing at Energy+!

Community Support & Outreach

In 2017, Corporate Donations, Sponsorships, in-kind gifts went to 30 non-profit organizations that support health, safety, child and youth development including Children’s Safety Villages of Waterloo Region and Brant, Strong Start to Reading program, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, and local Canada 150 events.

Energy+ engages with customers at many events and festivals, across its service territory.

Employee Giving


 Energy+ Beach Volleyball Team

Employee Jean Days in 2017 netted $6,000 for local agencies including Haven House, Heart & Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association, Cambridge Shelter, Nutrition for Learning, St. Monica House, Lissard House, Sick Kids Foundation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital Oncology Unit, Send ‘em Off Smiling, Breast Cancer Society, Salvation Army and the local SPCAs.

Helping Out In Emergencies

During widespread power emergencies, when we get the call, our team jumps into action offering mutual aid - trucks, equipment and expertise to help neighbouring utiilities restore power.
