Post-Secondary Awards

Conestoga College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning

  • An Academic Excellence Award, valued at $1,000, is awarded annually to a student in the Energy Systems Engineering Technology Program, who demonstrates academic excellence, teamwork and a commitment to safety. Recipients are selected by program faculty. How to Apply
  • An Academic Excellence Award, valued at $1,000, is awarded annually to a student in the Electrical Engineering Technology Program, who demonstrates academic excellence, teamwork and a commitment to safety. Recipients are selected by program faculty. How to Apply

University of Waterloo

  • A Green Energy Technology Scholarship, valued at $2,500, is awarded annually to a Master's student registered in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering in the Graduate Diploma in Green Energy Program in the Faculty of Engineering. Recipients are selected by program faculty. How To Apply

Paris District Secondary School

  • A Graduation Award, valued at $500, is presented annually to a graduating student entering a career in the Skilled Trades. The high school faculty selects the recipient.

Co-operative Education

Energy+ offers co-op and summer student opportunities in many departments, providing students with an opportunity to build experience in their field, while completing their studies. Careers

Safety Education

We regularly extend our commitment to safety beyond the work environment into the communities we serve, by providing electrical safety training for school-age children and community organizations. Our Hazard Hamlet simulator is a popular feature at community events such as Fire Safety Day.
