Associate in a mens retail store.The SMALL BUSINESS LIGHTING program can help Ontario businesses save costs by being more energy efficient. Qualifying businesses can get incentives for energy-efficient lighting and equipment upgrades.

You'll get easy and effortless energy-efficient upgrades that will go a long way to helping you reduce your electricity consumption and manage your monthly electricity costs, to improve your bottom line.

Reasons to Switch to LEDs

  • LEDs use up to 75% less electricity than standard lighting
  • Cooler bulbs mean less air conditioning, more savings and a more comfortable shopping atmosphere
  • Enjoy up to 50,000 hours of bulb life - save on maintenance costs and spend less time replacing bulbs

Eligible Businesses with receive:

  • A free onsite lighting assessment of their facility
  • Up to $2,000 in incentives towards eligible energy efficient lighting upgrades.  Some projects will be fully covered by the program while others many only be partially funded by the program.  There may be an opportunity for additional incentives for projects that exceed the $2,000 incentive in the program.
  • A turn-key lighting installation which eliminates the need to search for a qualified contractor, obtain quotes, submit incentive applications, project manage the retrofit and clean-up.

Who is eligible to participate?

  • Businesses with an average annual demand of less than 100kW, or are a recognized farm operation
  • Previous participants of Small Business Lighting programs
